How to get there
By car: take highway 307 south past the airport and turn off at Puerto Morelos. It's the easiest option if you want to add the cenotes.
By bus or colectivo: ADO buses and the shared colectivo vans run along the 307. They usually drop you at the highway entrance to Puerto Morelos, a couple of kilometers from the beach, and taxis wait there to take you into town. Check current schedules and fares before you go.
By taxi: the simplest door to door. Agree on the price before you get in.
What to do in town
Walk the beach to the leaning lighthouse, snorkel the reef with a licensed local guide, or just find shade and swim. The water inside the reef is usually calm.
If you have a car, the cenotes route starts a few minutes inland. We wrote a whole guide to it on this blog.
Where to eat
We're on Av. Javier Rojo Gómez, a short walk from the beach and the main square. Burgers, wings and fries, open every day from 12 to 9 PM, with seating outside.
Heading back to Cancún before dinner? Order ahead on WhatsApp and pick it up on your way out.
Good to know
From 3 PM our street closes to cars. Park nearby and it's a short walk from there.
We deliver only within Puerto Morelos, so this one is a visit, not a delivery.
