Where Puerto Morelos sits on the way
Highway 307 runs from Tulum up through Playa del Carmen to Cancún. Puerto Morelos is the last town before the airport, about 20 minutes south of the terminal.
From Playa del Carmen it's about 30 to 40 minutes to Puerto Morelos. From Tulum, plan on roughly an hour and a half, more with traffic.
How much time to leave
For an international flight, the usual advice is to be at the airport about three hours early. Work back from there: add the 20 minutes from Puerto Morelos and the time you want to sit down and eat.
Traffic on the 307 can surprise you, so give yourself a cushion. A relaxed burger beats running to the gate.
Two ways to do it
Sit down: turn off at Puerto Morelos, drive into town and eat with us. We're on Av. Javier Rojo Gómez, a short walk from the beach, open every day from 12 to 9 PM.
Grab and go: message us on WhatsApp from the road, tell us when you'll pass by, and pick it up at the counter. Burgers, fries and wings travel fine for the 20 minutes to the airport.
Parking
From 3 PM our street closes to cars. Park nearby and it's a short walk from there. With a rental full of luggage, earlier in the day is easier.
What to order before a flight
If you want something lighter, the Lil' Jimmy is our smaller burger. If it's the last real meal of the trip, go for a double, the Big E or the Bruno, with fries.
